To say that the High School Football America Alabama Top 10 has been a little topsy-turvy over the last several weeks would be an understatement.

For the third week in-a-row there’s a No. 1 and in this case its an old No. 1 as the Hoover Bucs are back in the top spot after beating Thompson Friday night in the Class 7A state semis.  The defending champs avenged their regular season loss to the the Warriors.

Hoover will play No. 2 McGill-Toolen in two weeks for the state title.  The Yellowjackets move-up two spots this week after knocking-off former No. 1 Central (Phenix City) Friday night.
