Soldotna looks to win its sixth straight Alaska high school football championship and wrap-up the No. 1 ranking in the High School Football America Alaska Top 5. The Stars will play Palmer for the Division II championship.
The Division I semifinals will be played this weekend with No. 2 Chugiak facing No. 4 Bartlett and No. 3 East playing No. 5 West. East is the defending state champs in the division.
The Division III championship that will be played this weekend pits Barrow against Homer.
