It will be a fairly quiet week on the field in the High School Football America Bay Area Top 25.  It’s bye week for many of the teams.

Top-ranked De La Salle will be in action taking-on No. 12 Bishop O’Dowd.  De La Salle is currently ranked No. 16 in the High School Football America Top 100 national rankings.

In the other Top 25 game, No. 18 Serra will square-off with No. 20 Bellarmine.

No. 3 Pittsburg is on its bye week, but will dive into Bay Valley league play on October 6 when the Pirates face No. 4 Freedom.  Five of the six teams in the Bay Valley are ranked in the Top 25 — No. 9 Liberty, No. 11 Antioch and No. 20 Heritage.
