Middletown is looking to change last year’s silver medal for a gold this weekend when it plays Sussex Central for Delaware’s Division I state championship. The top-ranked Cavaliers, who finished runner-up in 2019, were expecting a Smyrna as an opponent, but Sussex Central upset the former No. 2 Eagles.
In the Division II championship, No. 2 Howard will go against new No. 5 Archmere Academy.
