The High School Football America Florida Top 25 is back after taking a week off to let things settle-down a bit from the after effects of Hurricane Irma.

There’s not a lot of movement in the poll from two weeks ago, but No. 1 IMG Academy strengthened its position with a come-from-behind 24-15 win over Miami Central, which drops a spot to No. 4.  This week, the Ascenders will put their 32 game win streak on the line against No. 6 Northwestern.

St. Thomas Aquinas remains a solid No. 2 after shutting-out Stranahan Monday night.  It was the Raiders first game in 24 days.  Next up for STA, a road trip to Arizona where they’ll face Centennial, currently ranked No. 4 in the High School Football America Arizona Top 10 and No. 19 in our West Region Top 20.

There are two new teams in the Top 25 — St. Augustine at No. 19 and Jones re-enters the rankings at No. 25.

St. Augustine debuts in the rankings after beating former No. 19 Bartram Trail.  Jones, which started the season No. 19 in our preseason rankings, returns after three straight wins after dropping its season opener to nationally-ranked St. John’s College High School (Washington, DC).  St. John’s is currently ranked No. 27 in our Top 100.
