Nine of the ten teams in the High School Football America Illinois Top 10 survived first round upsets as the playoffs opened this week. No. 10 Huntley was the unlucky one as Tigers blew a 17-point lead in its 42-38 loss to Edwardsville in the first round of the 8A playoffs.
Huntley’s exit from the rankings, created with our proprietary algorithm, opens the door for Lake Zurich to enter at No. 10.
