None of the teams in the High School Football America Indiana Top 10 played this past weekend, but the week ahead should be an interesting one as the Class 6A playoffs begin with two Top 10 teams going head-to-head in the first round.

Top-ranked Ben Davis, ranked No. 9 nationally in the High School Football America Top 100, plays No. 2 Lawrence Central.  During the regular season, the Giants between LC 42-7.

No. 9 Penn will try to get revenge against No. 8 Valparaiso.  In the season opener on August 18, Valparaiso beat the Kingsmen 12-7.

There’s an interesting match-up in 5A where No. 10 Cathedral plays defending 4A state champ Roncalli.  Cathedral is 4-5, but has played one of the tougher schedules in the nation.  Roncalli spent most of regular season in the Top 10 prior to its 49-45 loss to Decatur Central on October 6.
