First place in the Southeast League is on-the-line Friday night when No. 2 Liberty squares-off with unbeaten No. 9 Foothill. Both teams own 1-0 records in league play. Liberty is coming-off a win against previously unbeaten Green Valley, which holds its No. 8 position this week.
In the High Desert League, No. 4 Reed takes-on No. 6 Reno in a first place battle between teams with 1-0 league marks.
And the third battle for first place will take place in the Northwest League where No. 5 Arbor View, 3-0 in league play, takes-on No. 7 Legacy, 2-1 in the league.
