Bishop Gorman is the No. 1 team in the first in-season 2021 High School Football America Nevada Top 10. The Gaels opened the season Friday with an impressive 42-21 win over Saint Louis, the No. 1 team in Hawaii.

BG, which is currently ranked No. 60 in the High School Football America 100 powered by NFL Play Football, the NFL’s initiative to provide fun and engaging experience for players of all ages and skill levels, was scheduled to play Bishop Manogue on Friday. That game has been cancelled, because of poor air quality in northern Nevada that has kept the No. 10 team in our statewide rankings.
