Another week, another No. 1 in the High School Football America Ohio Top 25.
Mentor’s upset of former No. 1 St. Ignatius shoots Pickerington Central to the top spot in the latest rankings that are created with our proprietary algorithm. Mentor jumps up six spots to No. 2 and also entered the national Top 100 at No. 49.

Pickerington Central will play No. 9 Colerain in the Division I state semifinals this weekend. Colerain became the ninth team from the Buckeye State to enter the national rankings on Sunday. The Cardinals are No. 91 in the nation.
After back-to-back wins against St. Ignatius and St. Edward, Mentor will try to punch its ticket to the state championship game when it plays No. 11 Olentangy Liberty.
In Division II, two-time Division III champ Archbishop Hoban, No. 7 in the Top 25, will play undefeated and No. 19 Avon.
No. 6 Trotwood-Madison plays No. 17 Avon in the Division III semis.
