St. Edward is the new No. 1 team in the High School Football America Top 25. The Eagles move into the top spot on the heels of St. Ignatius beating former No. 1 St. Xavier 28-14 over the weekend.
St. Igantius moves-up one spot to No. 2 and this week will face arch-rival St. Ed with the No. 1 spot on-the-line.
Another big game this week is No. 4 Trotwood-Madison taking-on No. 15 Wayne. In the Great Catholic League South Division No. 10 Elder plays three-time defending Division II champ La Salle, currently ranked No. 12 in the state in our rankings created with our proprietary algorithm.
No. 11 Winton Woods will play No. 14 Archbishop Moeller, which will be playing its sixth straight ranked team.
New to the Top 25 this week is defending Division VI state champ Marion Local, which has won nine overall state titles.
