Defending 6A state champ Maryville tightened its grasp on the top spot in the High School Football America Tennessee Top 10 after its 14-9 win over No. 4 Alcoa.

The top six teams from last week held their spots, including Ravenwood, which lost to Arkansas state power Pulaski Academy 37-29. This week, Ravenwood takes-on Brentwood, which re-enters the statewide rankings at No. 10.
