North Shore moves up to No. 2 in the latest High School Football America Texas Top 25 after its third round 56-35 defeat of former No. 2 Katy.
It’s a big weekend ahead with six head-to-head matchups in the state quarterfinal round. In Class 6A Division I, here are the matchups: No. 1 Duncanville vs. No. 3 Southlake Carroll, No. 2 North Shore vs. No. 21 Atascocita, No. 7 Rockwall vs. No. 25 Prosper and No. 12 Lake Travis vs. No. 18 Judson.
In Class 5A Division I, No. 4 Lone Star squares-off with No. 23 Lancaster. And, in Class 5A Division II, No. 16 Manvel and No. 17 Fort Bend Marshall will go at each other for the second time this year. Manvel won the regular season matchup on September 20 38-34.
