It was a long wait, but the 2020 high school football season in Washington is upon us…even if it is in 2021. Practice was allowed to begin across the state Monday.

Teams have been on the sidelines since the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association moved the 2020 season to spring due to the coronavirus pandemic. Once counties across the state reach Phase 2, teams will be allowed to play games.
