Highland Park makes big move in Texas Top 25 high school football rankings

Highland Park is up eight spots to No. 9 this week in the High School Football America Texas Top 25 powered by NFL Play Football. The Scots beat former No. 4 Rockwall 52-31. Rockwall tumbles to No. 10 in the latest statewide rankings created with our proprietary algorithm.

No. 2 Southlake Carroll picked-up a quality win over former No. 12 Arlington Martin, dropping the Warriors five spots to No. 17.

Denton Guyer continues to inch-up the rankings. The Wildcats are up one spot to No. 4 this week after beating Atascocita, which drops the Eagles a spot to No. 11 this week.

New to the Top 25 this week is Longview. The Lobos enter at No. 19 after beating three-time defending Arkansas champ Bryant, which snapped the Hornets’ 32-game win streak.
