The North Shore high school football community is still processing the tragic death of Jarvon Coles, who was killed in a drive-by shooting in Humble, Texas. Coles was attending a house party when he was shot Saturday night.

Coles, an A-student, who will be a member of the 2023 High School Football America All-America Team that will be released April 1, had a bright future ahead of him. The 18-year old linebacker, with a 4.1 grade point average, was going to be playing college football at Lamar University in the fall.

Over the past two seasons, Coles was a key performer for the power North Shore program that finished runner-up in the state’s largest classification in 2022 and 2023. Both years, Coles was named a first-team all-district linebacker.

Below are Coles’ senior season Hudl highlights.

Last season, North Shore finished No. 26 in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.
