It’s official – Nate Moore is the new head coach at Massillon Washington High School. Moore was unanimously approved as the school’s 27th head coach Monday night.
Moore comes to the Tigers’ program after winning Ohio’s Division II state title as the head coach at La Salle in December. La Salle finished #20 in High School Football America’s Top 25.
Just 33-years old, Moore has had an incredible career rebuilding the La Salle and Minster programs. In five years, the last two as the head of the La Salle program, Moore was 42-21.
Massillon is fourth on America’s all-time wins list with 844 victories. However, the Tigers have never won an Ohio state championship since the current playoff system was implemented in 1972.
Moore takes over for Jason Hall, who was let go at the end of the season.
