Hoover remains a solid No. 2 in the High School Football America Alabama Top 10

The Hoover Bucs remain a solid No. 2 after a big win in its showdown with No. 3 Hewitt-Trussville. The Bucs rebounded from a 28-16 deficit to win 29-28, which keeps the Bucs undefeated heading into Week 8.

The win of H-T keeps Hoover on-track for an October 23 showdown with No. 1 and defending 7A champ Thompson.

Speaking of solidifying its position and a comeback, No. 4 Auburn also picked-up a 29-28 win over Phenix City’s Central High. Auburn trailed 21-3 in the first half before mounting a comeback that ended the Red Devils’ 27-game region win streak.

Prattville re-enters the Top 10 at No. 9 after improving to 5-2 after beating Enterprise 35-28 Friday night. Next-up for Prattville its regional game against No. 8 Central (Phenix City) next Friday.
