Booker T. Washington head coach Kelvin Chatham is the Week 2 winner of the Houston Texans High School Coach of the Week award. Chatham took-over as the program’s head coach in 2021.
This year, Chatham has the Eagles off to a 2-0 start.

Each Houston Texans COTW will receive recognition on HoustonTexans.com and a $2,500 grant for their football program.
At the conclusion of the high school football season, a Coach of the Year will be selected from the 2022 Coach of the Week winners. They will receive recognition on HoustonTexans.com and social media, a signed certificate, a $5,000 grant for their football program and on-field recognition at our 2023 State of Football game.
