There are some championship trophies up-for-grabs this week inside the High School Football America 100 powered by NFL Play Football.

Top-ranked Mater Dei (California) beat No. 6 Servite (California) for the CIF-Southern Section Division 1 high school football championship. That win puts the Monarchs into the CIF Open Division championship on December 11. An Open Division championship is likely to give MD is third High School Football America 100 national championship since 2017.

In New Jersey, No. 4 Bergen Catholic wrapped-up a perfect 12-0 season by beating arch-rival Don Bosco Prep Saturday at MetLife Stadium, home of the New York Giants and New York Jets. Bosco entered the Non-Public A championship game ranked No. 84 in the nation.

In Indiana, No. 8 Center Grove is looking for back-to-back 6A titles. The Trojans play No. 93 Westfield Saturday night at Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Indianapolis Colts.

Friday night, No. 26 Cathedral captured its second straight Indiana 5A state title when it beat Zionsville 34-14. It was the second straight year that the Fighting Irish beat Zionsville for the title.

In Illinois, No. 47 East St. Louis was upset by Cary-Grove 37-36 for the 6A state championship.

No. 63 Martin Luther King (Detroit) won the Michigan Division 3 state championship by beating DeWitt 25-21Saturday night at Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions.

In Missouri, No. 75 Christian Brothers College High School beat Liberty North for the Class 6 state title.
