It’s state championship time in California. This weekend, top-ranked Mater Dei will not only try to finish No. 1 in the High School Football America California Top 25, but also win its fourth HSFA national title since 2017. The Monarchs will play No. 4 Serra (San Mateo) Saturday in the state’s Open Division championship game.
