No. 2 East St. Louis rebounded from its narrow loss to Chicago’s Mount Carmel with a 13-7 win over national power St. Frances Academy from Maryland. While the win didn’t help the Flyers in the latest High School Football America Illinois Top 10, powered by NFL Play Football, it did boost them in our national rankings.
ESL is ranked No. 35 in the HSFA 300, which also helps Mount Carmel rise to No. 34.
