No. 3 St. Anthony’s rebounded from its season opening loss with a heart-stopping 52-51 win over Cardinal Hayes. Gary Merrill ran for a two yard touchdown with 17 seconds remaining and then ran in the two-point conversion for the win.

Up next for St. Anthony’s is a battle against New Jersey’s St. Joseph Regional (Montvale), ranked No. 94 nationally. The Friars are currently ranked No. 292 nationally.
