Florida is the place to be this weekend for big head-to-head matchups inside the High School Football America 100, powered by NFL Play Football.

Bad weather postponed the showdown between No. 10 Chaminade-Madonna and No. 24 Miami Northwestern. When they finally hit the field on Saturday, C-M rolled to a 42-14 victory.

No. 6 Miami Central follows-up its season-opening win over IMG Academy with a 36-19 win over No. 148 Miami Booker T. Washington. Both teams could be in-line top add to their great trophy cases.

Miami Central has won eight Florida state football championship since 2010. BTW owns four state crowns since 2007.

No. 7 St. Thomas Aquinas beat No. 51 Cocoa 42-14. STA is now 3-0 while the Tigers fall to 0-2, but both losses have been against Top 50 programs.

Defending 6A champ Jesuit, ranked No. 31 in the HSFA 300, was taken-down by No. 60 Miami Columbus 32-15. The Explorers were led by Stanford-recruit Sedrick Irvin, Jr., who caught two touchdowns and ran for another.

In Alabama, No. 27 Central (Phenix City) lost in overtime to No. 300 Opelika 17-14 on an overtime field goal.

No. 44 East St. Louis (Illinois), playing one of the toughest schedules in the nation, lost to No. 192 Creekside (Georgia) 10-8. Don’t let this one surprise you, Creekside is also top-notch program playing one of the best out-of-state schedules in 2022.

In Oklahoma, No. 138 Union will be moving-up in Sunday’s new rankings. The Redhawks took-down No. 59 Jenks 38-3 in the latest edition of their rivalry known as the Backyard Brawl.

Saturday’s big game is No. 12 Good Counsel (Maryland) taking-on No. 18 Archbishop Moeller (Ohio) in Ironton, Ohio. The game can be watched on FloFootball.
