The field for the Elite 11 Quarterback Competition is set. The 18th and final competitor was named on Monday.
Jake Zembiec of Aquinas Institute in Rochester, New York was given final spot. The Penn St. verbal commit missed a lot of his junior season due to a broken left wrist in Week 2. As a sophomore, Zembiec led his school to New York’s Class AA state championship with a 13-0 season.Texas has the most entrants in the Elite 11 with four QBs. California and Pennsylvania have two competitors each. Florida would have two, if Malik Henry had stayed at IMG Academy.
