Tampa Bay Buccaneers take Hueytown HS grad Jameis Winston with top pick in 2015 NFL Draft

It only took Jameis Winston three years to go from Hueytown High School in Alabama to the #1 pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. Winston was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Winston, who played both football and baseball was ranked the best dual-threat QB by Rivals.com and the best overall QB by ESPN. During his junior year, Winston led Hueytown to a state championship.
