Sometimes it’s hard to find a decent story on the news these days with all of the political garbage masquerading as news. However, a smile was brought to my face today when I saw this story from KTVB-TV about an Idaho boy with autism who had a great birthday, thanks to the Nampa High School football team.

According to the KTVB story, 9-year old Christian Larsen had begged his mom to invite his friends to his birthday, but only one person RSVP’d. With only one guest coming, a family friend in Texas called Dan Holtry, the head football coach at Nampa, who immediately RSVP’d players on his team for the early June birthday surprise.
