The Idaho High School Activities Association is changing how teams qualify for the postseason. The IHSAA announced Wednesday that it will use MaxPreps.com‘s computer rankings to determine who makes the 4A, 2A and 1A Division I playoffs and also the draw in those brackets.
The decision doesn’t affect the Class 5A and 1A Division II playoffs, which will continue to use the organization’s traditional bract method. The change will affect the 2020 postseason.
