Defending 8A champ Loyola Academy opens the season as the #1 team in the High School Football America Illinois Top 10. The Ramblers will put that ranking to the test on Saturday when they play #4 Maine South. MS is coming-off an impressive 44-13 win over Montini Catholic, which has won two state football titles in the last three years.
Another big game this weekend will be Saturday in East St. Louis where the Flyers will take-on Christian Brothers College, last year’s Missouri Class 6 runner-up.
