Rosters for the 49th annual Illinois High School Shrine Game in Peoria, Illinois have been announced. The game, featuring 92 players from around the state, will be played June 17 at Tucci Stadium at Illinois Wesleyan.

Wilmington’s Jeff Reents will be the head coach of the Blue All-Stars. The Red All-Stars will be coached by Jeff Lalor of Stillman Valley.

In the past, the game has featured two NFL players — quarterback Mike Tomczak and wide receiver Don Beebe.

Tomczak, a Thornton Fractional North alum, signed a free agent contract with the Chicago Bears after playing his college football at Ohio State. He also played for the Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers during his career.

Beebe, who played scholastically at Kaneland High School, played nine years in the NFL, primarily with the Buffalo Bills. Beebe played in six Super Bowls, winning a ring with the Green Bay Packers in Super Bowl XXXI. He is currently the head football coach at Aurora University in Illinois.
