Reigning 7A champ Wheaton North is back into the High School Football America Illinois Top 10, powered by NFL Play Football. The Falcons, who fell-out of the statewide rankings after their Week 4 one-point loss to St. Charles North, re-enter the rankings at No. 9.
Hersey is also new to the Top 10 created with our proprietary algorithm. The Huskies make their first-ever Top 10 appearance after a 7-0 start.
No. 3 Mount Carmel (Chicago) remains a perfect 6-0 with its 28-21 win over No. 5 Brother Rice. Quarterback Blainey Dowling scored the winning touchdown with just under two minutes to play in the game.
