Lincoln-Way East left no doubt that its the No. 1 team in the High School Football America Illinois top 10, at this point in the season, with a 48-6 blowout of No. 9 Homewood-Flossmoor. That helped the Griffins move-up two spots to No. 55 in the latest High School Football America 100 national rankings.

New to the rankings this week is Marist at No. 9. This week, the RedHawks will challenge their new ranking against No. 3 Nazareth Academy in a battle for first place in the East Suburban Catholic League.

There’s a big interstate game between No. 4 East St. Louis taking-on undefeated Massillon Washington, ranked No. 10 in the Ohio Top 25.
