Iona Prep heads into postseason ranked No. 1 in New York Top 10

Top-ranked Iona Prep will head into the postseason on an eight-game win streak. The Gaels, who are ranked No. 137 in the High School Football America national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football, get a first round bye in the Catholic High School Football League. They’ll face the winner of the game between No. 7 St. Anthony’s and Cardinal Hayes.

On the other side of the state Hamburg has moved to No. 2 in the New York Top 10 in the latest rankings.

Archbishop Stepinac falls a notch to No. 3 after losing its season finale to Cardinal Hayes in overtime.
