Iona Prep remains No. 1 in New York Top 10 high school football rankings

Top-ranked Iona Prep continues to prove in-state, it’s the state’s best team. After opening with a loss to New Jersey’s Don Bosco Prep, the Gaels won their fourth straight last weekend with a 34-7 win over Archbishop Stepinac, which moves-up a notch to No. 9 in the New York Top 10 despite the loss.

Carmel makes its first-ever appearance in the Top 10 powered by NFL Play Football at No. 10.

This week’s big game finds No. 5 Shaker taking-on No. 8 Christian Brothers Academy (Albany).
