For the third time this year, there’s a new No. 1 in the High School Football America Iowa Top 10 powered by NFL Play Football.
Iowa City High School is now the top team in our statewide high school football rankings. The Little Hawks move to the top spot after beating No. 7 Dowling Catholic 21-17 last week and former No. 1 Southeast Polk lost to defending 4A state champ Ankeny 21-7.
Ankeny, our preseason No. 1, moves from No. 6 to No. 4 after beating SEP. Former No. 5 Ankeny Centennial, which beat Ankeny in Week 2, drops-out of the Top 10 after losing 28-14 to Cedar Falls.
