Baldwin High School head football coach Robert Shields is the Jacksonville Jaguars 2022 High School Football Coach of the Year. The honor makes him a finalist for the Don Shula NFL High School Coach of the Year Award.
Baldwin finished 9-3 in 2022, advancing to the Region 2-2S semifinals.
“Shields is an exceptional leader on and off the field and separates himself by not only focusing on the athlete but on the importance of building great character in each of his athletes. He offers support and resources for his team to achieve academic excellence and prepares his athletes for college and the next steps in life.
