With Signing Day 2015 behind us, attention quickly turns to the Class of 2016.  This week the Ledger-Enquirer in Columbus, Georgia took a peak at its area’s top recruits.

At the head of its class is Carver High School quarterback Jawon Pass — yes, a quarterback with the last name of Pass!  247Sports.com has given him a 5-star rating, while ESPN, Rivals and Scout have him as a four.

Pass, the #1 dual-threat QB by 247Sports.com, has already received 23 scholarship offers with Alabama, Auburn, Louisville and North Carolina said to be high on his list.  His brother Khane Pass, a safety, signed with Louisville last week.

Some say that Pass is the most talented quarterback to come out of Georgia since Cam Newton.
