Position Overview:

The Varsity Football Head Coach will be responsible for leading and developing a competitive football program that is committed to an environment of encouragement, teamwork, and excellence; not criticism, individualism, or perfectionism. Instills discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship in student-athletes. This position includes a teaching role as an Weights instructor.

The head coach will be responsible for the organization and management of the Football Program.
A successful candidate must display the attributes of a good teammate, working with and alongside our other varsity sports and programs.
This individual must have strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.

Support and attend other school functions to show support for all NHS programs.
Develop relationships with the supporting community
Provide input into the junior high programs

Bachelor’s degree required; teaching certification preferred.
Coaching experience at the high school level or higher.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Knowledge of football strategies, techniques, and safety protocols.
Ability to positively influence and mentor student-athletes.
