Joel Barlow captures 2nd straight Class SS Connecticut high school football championship

Joel Barlow edged Watertown 21-20 to win the school’s second straight Class SS Connecticut high school football championship. Barlow entered the state playoffs as the 7th seed. The win caps a 7-4 season for the Falcons.

Watertown’s last state football championship came in 1986.
