Kahuku, ranked No. 99 in the High School Football America Preseason Top 100, is No. 1 in the first in-season High School Football America Top 5 that is created with our proprietary algorithm.  The Red Raiders (0-0) open the regular season on Friday against Leilehua (1-0).

Defending Open Division champ Saint Louis, which beat Kahuku in the 2016 state championship game, is just a fraction of a percentage point behind the Red Raiders at No. 2.  The Crusaders (1-0) opened with an impressive 49-7 win over Waianae (0-1) Saturday.
