Nobody should think that Patrick Mahomes throwing-style started in the National Football League. Mahomes, who led the Kansas City Chiefs to the AFC championship game Saturday night by beating the Indianapolis Colts, learned how to spin the football during his days at Whitehouse High School in Texas.

Mahomes, who was a three-sport athlete in high school, pass for 4,619 yards with 50 touchdowns as a senior. He also had 948 rushing yards with 15 TDs.
