Kari Driskell, wife of Blue Valley High School (Stillwell, Kansas) head football coach Eric Driskell, says her husband “needs a miracle” after sustaining a ruptured brain aneurysm on Sunday.  According to media reports, the 43-year Driskell was eating with fellow coaches when he collapsed.

Driskell, the father of two who is a Blue Valley alum, has led his school to two state championships.  Last season, his team lost to Derby 17-14 in the 6A state title game.

Blue Valley finished 2016 ranked No. 2 in the High School Football America Kansas Top 5.
