Senior quarterback Terrell Hoofkin was17-for-26 for 264 yards, two touchdowns, rushed seven times for 48 yards and another score and even caught a touchdown pass as Kentwood beat Oak Grove 40-21 to win Louisiana’s Class 1A championship.

Kentwood finishes 12-2, while Oak Grove finished 13-1.
