Kidder County captures North Dakota 9-Man State Championship

After blowing a 22-0 lead, Kidder County scored the last 24 points to beat Cavalier 54-32 to capture the North Dakota 9-man high school football state championship. Cavalier took a 32-30 lead with about nine minutes to go in the game at the Fargodome, but Jonah Harter’s second touchdown game of the game gave Kidder County a lead it wouldn’t give up.

Kidder finishes with an 11-1 record, while Cavalier loses its first to finish with a 12-1 record.
