Kindred wins first North Dakota high school football state championship

Kindred defeated Hillsboro/Central Valley, ranked No. 5 in the High School Football America North Dakota Top 5, 37-14 in the 11B state championship at the FargoDome. During the regular season, Kindred lost to HCV 26-20.

Kindred finishes the season 12-1, while Hillboro/Central Valley ends the season 11-2.
