Kyler Murray, who led Allen (Texas) to three straight High School Football America “mythical” championships while going 42-0 as a starter with the Eagles, is the 2018 Heisman Trophy winner. Murray, who already has signed a Major League Baseball contract with the Oakland Athletics, was our 2014 National Player of the Year.

During his senior season, Murray threw for 4,713 yards and 54 touchdowns. He also rushed for 1,495 yards and 25 TDs.

Murray is the third former High School Football America Player of the Year to win a Heisman. Johnny Manziel (Kerrville Tivy HS, Texas) won our POY after his senior season in 2010. Derrick Henry (Yulee HS, Florida), won the award in 2012.
