Lake Norman’s Sam Jordan scores heart-warming touchdown on Senior Night

Three cheers for Lake Norman senior Sam Jordan, who scored his first high school touchdown Friday night against Vance, the top team in the High School Football America North Carolina Top 10.

Jordan, who has Down’s Syndrome, raced 50 yards on his first-ever scholastic carry to the joy of both teams and everyone at the game. Watch the run that opened the game below.

The run came on Senior Night. Jordan has served as the team’s manager for four years.
