Lake Travis (Texas), which opened the season with a loss to Judson and then ripped-off 15 straight wins, finishes 2016 as the top-ranked team in the High School Football America Southwest Top 10 that is created with our proprietary algorithm. DeSoto (Texas) finishes behind the Cavaliers.

The Woodlands (Texas), losers to Lake Travis on Saturday in the 6A Division I championship game, finishes #3, followed by Allen (Texas) at #4 and Cibolo Steele (Texas) at #5.  Class 5A Division II champ Aledo moves-up a notch to #8 in our final rankings.
