After what some would say was a disappointing 9-3 season, Langston Hughes will try to get back to where it was when it played for back-to-back state championships in 2021 and 2022. The Panthers, who will play in Class 5A, under the state’s new alignment, will have to do something it hasn’t had to do in four years, find a quarterback. That’s because Air Noland has taken his talents to Ohio State.
Hughes is in Region three with Banneker, Dutchtown, Lovejoy, McIntosh, Morrow, Newnan and Northgate.
