Van Wert is the 2020 Ohio high school football Division IV high school football state champs after edging Lake Catholic 31-28 on a last second field goal Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium on the campus of Massillon Washington High School.

Junior Damon McCracken won it with a 25-yard field goal. It was his first FG attempt of the year.
